My “EZ ADU Home Conversion + STR Setup” service handles everything—from design and permits to furnishing and tenant placement—to turn your unused basement, garage, or cottage into a fully equipped in-law suite. You’ll have a ready-to-rent space that can generate income, boost property value, or serve as extra living space.

4 Phases

Phase 1:

Discovery (1 day & Free)

In this step, I’ll explore your space and discuss how you want it to serve you in the long-run, whether it’s making it another in-law suite, or renting it out on Airbnb. I will do an on-site visit to explore the existing space, discuss with you about what type of space you want, and how you want to use it, if you want it for grown-up children/elderly parents, your personal use, standard rent out, or Airbnb. Through this discussion you will learn that you can get a tenant ready space or the space that fits your personal needs with all-inclusive delivery that I provide, which prevent you from juggling with your 9-5 schedule because I will do everything until I find a first tenant upon the finish of the project which allows you to generate extra monthly income immediately. I will also connect you with the loan officer who is specialized in ADU projects so you can explore loan options if you have financial difficulties.

Phase 2:

Design Period (1-2 Week)

In this step, I will help you to finalize all the design decisions from locking the floor plan layout to finish, furniture, appliances, and fixture selection. So you can visualize the outcome of an aesthetical, practical, durable, and tenant-ready space.

Phase 3-1:

Construction (6 Months)

During this process you will witness how the existing space gets transformed into a tenant-ready space and ready to be used for generating monthly rental income or enjoy it on your own. This includes from receiving permits, demolishing existing walls, placing new structures and furniture. I will help you process the permit procedure and get construction started, and lastly placing the furniture in the space.

Phase 3-2:

First Tenant Placement

I will initiate the process of searching for the tenant as soon as the project starts, so you can ensure to have a tenant ready before the finish of the project.

I’m the founder and lead designer of EZ ADU Atlanta Design + Build, with over seven years of experience in architecture after earning my Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College in 2020. My background spans residential, multi-family, mixed-use, healthcare, and banking projects.
